I have myself created the video in question (using Dolphin) and proven that these characters can go under FD on all versions of the game without the use of cheats or hacks. In fact, videos are floating around Youtube of human players going under FD with the two most difficult characters, Pikachu and Samus. And to answer your concern, Link, Young Link and Samus can air dodge into tethering. Hi! Sorry to bother you, but I wanted to talk about that Yoshi alt. The video I linked goes over a press release that includes images of alternate costumes from ''Ultimate'', like Mario's Wedding and Builder outfits and Ridley's Meta-Ridley costume. Yoshi's ''Crafted World'' appearance is among those images, so it's likely that the ''Crafted World'' appearance is going to be an alt, even if we haven't seen gameplay of it yet.
