I understand why wiki administration might be against listing the names as there's not an easy verifiable way to check them due to the materials being a bit hard to get ahold of, but as someone who edits a lot of wikis for obscure games, second-hand sources are how I find a lot of information that'd otherwise be lost due to said info only being available in out-of-print books and the like. I really hope my edits can be reinstated, as I'd legitimately hate for the information to be lost due to a lack of available photos of said books. :I was able to see your scans, and I'm impressed they could be found. I'm not questioning their veracity, but what I am questioning is whether or not it makes sense for the wiki to change the names. SmashWiki is not official, and if there's a colloquial name for them that's more widely accepted, or if there are conflicting sources in different languages, I imagine the names would stay as is on the boss' pages. Great finds regardless. Unfortified Castle 19:38, June 17, 2021 (EDT)

::I do understand that, but as wikis are made to be encyclopedic, I feel like having officially sanctioned move names makes more sense than fanmade ones. As far as I know, the boss move names used on the wiki are conjectural, and I don't think that most people give much thought to the boss move name regardless and just say "the laser attack" or "the bomb attack" when referring to said moves, which is why I think it makes sense to use the official ones. For instance, a lot of people refer to Lucas' up smash as "PK Love" due to its resemblance to the move in Mother 3, but on his pages the wiki uses the official name, "PK Smash Geyser".
::In regards to conflicting names in other languages, as far as I know, the Japanese names are the only known names for the attacks, as most official foreign guides don't bother to break the encounters down into sections on specific attacks. I flipped through my old Brawl and Smash 4 guides to make sure, and there's just a blurb about the boss fights without much specific detail on their attacks.
