It's natural for users to start out by making a few edits to their userpage, and then browse around the wiki. It's possible that he/she edited before as an IP, and he/she created an account in order to formally join the community. That is why I welcomed him and helped him out, before he began making mainspace edits. Generally you should wait a bit before expecting lots of mainspace contributions, since new users may be unsure of where to edit, or even confused as to how to user wiki formatting (as was the case with CraptinFalcon). | I will tell you that if you're going to make images for signatures, have less white space around them. That Kirby image has loads of space around it, and would have just as much blank space around it within the signature. It won't be transparent either.
