Do not add categories to a user's page or a user's talk page, especially to denote that they are blocked. First because it is against policy to have categories on those pages (with few exceptions) and second because it is unnecessary.

In addition it is in bad taste to post in long-dead discussions (they've likely been resolved or are not relevant anymore) or on perma-banned user's talk pages (as they can't/have no reason to respond and there is unlikely to be anything constructive to add), please refrain from doing either of those. --CanvasK (talk) 16:32, June 4, 2025 (EDT)
