It appears to me that you may not know what wikis are supposed to be, I'll give you a quick rundown. A wiki is supposed to be an encyclopedia, all edits are meant to present facts and must be written professionally. [[SW:TALK|Talk pages]] are meant to be used to discuss the content of an article and ways to improve it, and user talk pages are for informing out users about their edits, they are not to be used for casual talk. Userpages are indeed meant to be your profile page, but you need to remember that we are an encyclopedia, not a fansite. There are more important things to do besides editing your userspace, which is why users who do nothing but edit their userpages are put in [[SW:PROB|probation]].
