Hey, please don't upload images that are smaller/lower-quality just so they match native resolution for the NES or SNES or whatever. For example, this one. If you want to upload cleaner/pixel-perfect images with the correct aspect ratio and such, I'm all for that. But uploading a small image just to match native res will result in it getting messily upscaled for display on most article pages. The best way to handle this is to do a simple 2x or 3x upscale from native res yourself and upload that. That way, the full-size image is pixel-perfect, and it will get downscaled for display in articles which looks much better. Here's an example. :I mean, i thought you could fix the upscaling for the article--when i upload the pixel perfect variant, it reduces article load time (which the wiki focuses on). But yeah, you have a good point. I was wondering why you're converting the image file type on numerous images? Does it really matter what file type the image is? (I personally cannot see any differences between the images of the png and jpg files) (If its because other Wikis do it, the SmashWiki has its own rules) Wolff (talk) 17:19, April 28, 2019 (EDT)
