Here's a list of Poke Ball Pokemon I'd like to see in Smash for Switch. Pokemon will be grouped based on the frequency I'd like them to appear at.

Common[edit]

Magneton[edit]

  • Attack: Tri Attack
  • Description: All three Magnemite forming Magneton create a triangle formation, transmitting beams of fire, electricity and ice.
    • The Fire beam is the strongest of the three, KO'ing starting at 65%.
    • The Electric beam is the most damaging of the three, dealing up to 40%.
    • The Ice beam is the least powerful, but freezes opponents.
  • Damage: 27% (Fire), 4% per hit (Electric, up to 10 hits), 14% (Ice)
  • Trophy description:
  • A somewhat unique Pokemon that formed from three Magnemite. If a TV unit started to short-circuit, then it's the work of this one Pokemon's electrical interference. As a homage to being three Magnemite at once, it uses the feared Tri Attack in Smash Bros., launching three different elemental beams with their own properties.

Cloyster[edit]

  • Attack: Icicle Spear, Ice Beam
  • Description:
    • Icicle Spear: Fires off small icicles similar to Staryu's and Starmie's Swift. Freezes starting at very high percentages, and has a 85% chance of being used.
    • Ice Beam: Fires a beam that freezes enemies. Will KO at low percentages, but the attack itself has a 15% chance of being used.
  • Damage: 2% per shot (Icicle Spear, up to 14 shots), 30% (Ice Beam)
  • Trophy description:
  • After exposure to a Water stone, Shellder transforms into a physically defensive tank of Water-types - Cloyster. Its shell is speculated to be so hard that even a bomb blast can't cause even a dent. In Smash Bros., it uses Icicle Spear to launch ice fragments or Ice Beam to freeze foes and launch them very far. What attack it uses all comes down to luck, so don't get cocky!

Hitmonchan[edit]

  • Attack: DynamicPunch
  • Description: Throws a punch similar to Little Mac's Straight Lunge, though without dashing forward. Will fully break even a perfect shield, but very slow to begin with. Otherwise, it KO's starting at 55%.
  • Damage: 33%
  • Trophy description:
  • A Fighting-type Pokemon whose most noteworthy trait is its punching abilities. It can be received as a potential gift in Saffron City's Fighting Dojo alongside Hitmonlee, but choose wisely - you can only choose one! As a Poke Ball Pokemon, it uses the almighty Fighting-type attack DynamicPunch, a slow but powerful attack that can really send foes flying.
