I do not believe these policies are necessary on this wiki.
- Blocking
- This policy is a bad idea because we shouldn't need hard-coded pages telling admins how to do their job. If someone is trusted enough to be promoted to sysop, they shouldn't need a policy to tell them what to do in a specific situation (even if a policy could encompass every possible situation, which they can't), they should be able to reason it out for themselves or discuss with other admins.
- Deletion
- Same as above.
- Protection
- Same as above.
- Rollback policy (and with it RfR policy)
- I do not believe rollback is a tool necessary for the wiki to function. Admins get it by default, which is fine. However, the potential drama caused by users misusing rollback is honestly not worth the time it takes for a bureaucrat to manage the userrights, much less the time spent on a RfR. All users have the ability to undo edits; the tool is entirely superfluous, and there is just too much bad that can come from it to be worthwhile.
- Vandalism
- Useless policy. A definition of vandalism shouldn't be necessary; most of the content is covered by Assume Good Faith; and a description of how to use the undo button is of minimal importance, and not enough to warrant a policy.
If you wish to discuss any reasons for why any of these policies should be implemented, please use this talk page.
