User:Alex the weeb/List of issues with Ruben's Smash Ultimate calculator

  • The visualizer does not perfectly align with in-game results, usually slightly overestimating the distance opponents are launched
  • When launching opponents on the ground with an angle of 0˚, the visualizer will attempt to apply GravPen (referred to as gravity boost) to opponents, even if they are under the 120 unit threshold for forcing opponents into the air, which results in the visualizer, along with the vertical launch speed calculation, being incorrect.
  • When giving the target a special status, such as Shulk's Monado Arts, the calculator will erroneously set the "DamageFlyTop Fall Speed" value to the fighter's regular falling speed. Changing their status back will not return it to the correct value.
  • The launch calculation for set weight knockback is incorrect, as it does not consider the use of generic fall speed and gravity values for the first few frames of knockback, or that fighters then revert to their own fall speed and gravity values, even for knockback of angles 70-110˚.
  • The calculator applies the knockback angle change that occurs for the 0˚ launch angle to the 180˚ launch angle as well, however this does not occur in-game.
  • The displayed "DamageFlyTop Gravity" value for Banjo & Kazooie is incorrect, instead being the value for a hypothetical fighter with a weight of around 80. Mewtwo's value is also incorrect, due to it not having been updated when his weight, and DamageFlyTop gravity, were increased.
  • The Mario Bros. stage in the visualiser (along with the version on the data viewer) has a significantly higher upper and lower blast zone and camera bounds to what is actually present in-game, resulting in all vertical KO percentages being vastly unreliable on said stage.
  • The 8-player version of Final Destination has the wrong proportions on the visualizer (along with the data viewer), being stretched horizontally and not vertically (while in game, it is upscaled in all directions evenly).
  • In addition to the above, King of Fighters Stadium and Garreg Mach Monastery are unavailable, Figure 8 Circuit is erroneously still referred to as Mario Circuit (Brawl), The Great Cave Offensive is listed as "Great Cave Offensive", Super Mario Maker is listed as "Mario Maker", Yoshi's Island [Brawl] is listed as "Yoshi Island", Small Battlefield is absent (even though it is available in the data viewer), and Wuhu Island is misspelled as "Wufu Island" (a possible corruption of the English and Japanese names).
