== Trivia ==
*The tournament had a [https://smash.gg/tournament/smash-city-la/fantasy fantasy team contest] where people on smash.gg could create a team of eight players without exceeding the virtual budget of $1400. Points were decided on the players in the fantasy team's placements and whether or not eight bonus predictions came true.
:*The prizes for this were a new [[Wii U]] console, a $100 Controller Chaos gift card, and a $20 [[Nintendo]] eShop gift card for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively. The prizes were provided by a company named MoneyMatches.
