During the event, only certain characters could be used. The original run commemorated the release of {{SSBU|Banjo & Kazooie}}.

The event originally ran from 6 a.m. on September 6, 2019 to 6 a.m. on September 9, 2019 ({{s|wikipedia|UTC}}), and was repeated  on the following dates:
