Since moves like Fire Fox and Spinning Kong were invented for Smash Bros, can we really say that the "universe move originates from" is Star Fox or Donkey Kong? What about moves like Egg Roll, which seem to have been invented for Smash Bros. but then appeared in the originating series? ::Well, the template's documentation uses the phrase "universe move originates from", which to me makes more sense than "universe characters that use the move originate from", since the articles are about the moves themselves.
