| Do any Poké Ball Pokémon or assist trophy use this effect, especially in Brawl where type effectiveness exists? If no I think it could be useful to note since some of them, like Kyogre and Piplup (and only them?), really look like they should. --Menshay (talk) 17:07, 28 October 2014 (EDT)

| :I'm interested in this too. As for other causes, perhaps the rain in the Kitty Cover microgame on WarioWare, Inc. could be water too? --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 00:57, 10 November 2014 (EST)

| As far as I'm aware, there are no Pokémon or Assist Trophies that use water as a type or an effect. I don't know about Kitty Cover's rain, but since it doesn't flinch, having the right type/effect would be even less important. | :In that case, I think it would be worthwhile noting that Kyogre and Oshawott do not use water as a type or effect (as is noted on the grass page in regards to Chikorita).
| |
| :As for Kitty Cover's rain not affecting knockback, Blue Pikmin should still be immune to damage from it, so it is not completely inconsequential. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 05:22, 8 April 2015 (EDT)

| == Greninja ==

|
| |
| Greninja has a few water moves like hydro pump and the down taunt that use water. I know water shuriken and the swords are blade based in damage, but it has plenty of moves that are truly water. Can someone make a list of its water moves please? Pallukun (talk) 15:15, June 2, 2020 (EDT)
| |
| :Everything is listed based on Ruben's script search when searching for Type=ATTACK_REGION_WATER. Oddly enough most of Greninja's attacks are Type=ATTACK_REGION_NONE, AKA Typeless. --CanvasK (talk) 15:21, June 2, 2020 (EDT)
| |
| ::Same is true in the Smash 4 search with Type=0x16. In Brawl Greninja didn't exist, only Squirtle used Water and I think I covered all of his moves. --CanvasK (talk) 15:32, June 2, 2020 (EDT)

| :::That's pretty weird but at least there's a reason for it. I'll include it as trivia I guess Pallukun (talk) 16:33, June 2, 2020 (EDT)
