::Still fail to see the point of why this page shouldn't use Smash for 3DS instead, it is a generally accepted term by the community to refer to the game (which the wiki also embrace it in multiple pages in the first place), and it also occupies less space than using the other terms instead (other than For 3DS). --Improvisado (talk • contribs) 16:56, November 2, 2022 (GMT)

::I should add that the Smash devs themselfs use For 3DS when refering to the music tracks that debuted on that game/Smash for Wii U in Ultimate, so i may ask why is that one "wrong as well" then? --Improvisado (talk • contribs) 17:01, November 2, 2022 (GMT)

:::I'll admit I wasn't aware that "for 3DS" was used in official context until a few moments ago. However, I believe that is only for music in Ultimate and they also immediately use "for Nintendo 3DS" when listing the source game. As for "Smash for 3DS" already being used on the wiki, so are the other forms. Using consistency across the wiki as an argument doesn't hold for that reason. "for Nintendo 3DS" is more official than "Smash for 3DS", which is why I use that. Perhaps a proposal should be made to solidify which is preferred (if any) on the wiki like how the original Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. 4 have a list of acceptable shortenings. --CanvasK (talk) 16:46, November 2, 2022 (EDT)
