I have dissovered something. This might just be me, but I figure if your are below Jigglypuff when she bounces at the peak of her growth, you take no damage, just the knockback. If you are to the side of Giant Jigglypuff, the Hyper Voice (seems right to me!) goes into affect, and you take the damage as well. Anyway else see that?--Oxico 18:23, February 12, 2008 (EST)

In the 72nd episode of the Pokemon anime, The Ancient Puzzle Of Pokemonopolis, a giant Jigglypuff saves the day. This giant Jigglypuff was summoned from a large bell by a smaller Jigglypuff's song and did not come from a transformation. It also had strange tribal markings all over its body, unlike Jigglypuff's Final Smash.
Nevertheless, this is the only occurring giant Jigglypuff in the series and it's a fact that the anime has inspired several elements of Smash representation, such as voice actors, Pikachu's inclusion (based on its rampant popularity through the anime) and the mention of Ash Ketchum in the Pokemon Trainer trophy.
I think it's worth mentioning in the article as a possible origin. It's certainly the first thing I thought of when I first saw that Final Smash.Gamtos (talk) 16:07, 1 June 2016 (EDT)
