I was worried that some people would be confused, but upon close inspection it can be seen that Bonus Fruit and Pac-Man's move with various Namco properties are separate moves. When using Bonus Fruit, Pac-Man has a certain expression on his face and is looking up. However, his expression and pose are different when he summons Namco characters and items. Some of the bonus fruits have been given names that are clearly wrong to anyone familiar with PAC-MAN's games. The "Green Ball" is a cantaloupe (a kind of melon), the "Umbrella" is a Galaxian flagship, and the "Jelly" is a bell.
