Talk:Mushroom Kingdom (SSB)

I feel that I've completed the article, but there may be somethings that have slipped my attention. ShoeThief 15:02, January 14, 2007 (GMT)

This page should be moved, but I can't decide between "... (SSB stage)", "... (SSB)", "... (N64)" etc. – Smiddle / talk 18:22, January 7, 2007 (GMT)

home stage[edit]

Does anyone know if this is Luigi's home stage? Cheezperson {talk}stuff 07:09, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Anyone else having problems?[edit]

I've met the necessary criteria needed to unlock the Mushroom Kingdom stage but it still remains locked. I've downloaded the game from the Virtual Console by the way, so I'm wonderin' if anyone else has encountered this problem Kaihedgie (talk) 18:51, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

You're 100% sure you've played another player on each and every starting stage in the game, and you beat classic mode with the eight starter characters? HavocReaper48 21:18, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
Yes I have. I double checked everything and played on each stage more than thrice. Nothing has happened Kaihedgie (talk) 23:00, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
It ain't there at all. Kaihedgie (talk) 16:09, March 5, 2010 (UTC)
Well, if you're 100% sure, and if your Wii does not have any memory problems, try sending a problem-report to Nintendo here. HavocReaper48 20:06, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

No luck, guys. Sent the message and even called the Power Line. x: Kaihedgie (talk) 01:49, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Eight starters required to unlock this stage?[edit]

I used Mario to unlock Ness, then Luigi to unlock Captain Falcon, then Pikachu to unlock Jigglypuff, and played through the 1P Mode with Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Yoshi, and Kirby in that order, and unlocked the Mushroom Kingdom without ever playing as Fox in the 1P Mode. This makes it hard to believe that one must play as the 8 starter characters in 1P mode to unlock the stage. I think that any 8 out of the full roster of 12 are eligible, including secret characters. I am using the North American cartridge version. Is this consistent with anyone else's experience? —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) 22:22, 25 April 2014‎

Warp Pipe animations[edit]

I'm surprised this page makes no mention of it, and I'm not actually sure how to go about it, but I think we should have some sort of listing for the animations in SSB64 that each character has when entering a Warp Pipe. Not only is the animation unique with every character, but a lot of them are even references; Mario assumes his NES pose, Samus goes down an elevator, Kirby enters a cannon, etc. CrazyNaut (talkcontribs) 1:42, January 26, 2020‎
