Could I re-add the bit of trivia mentioning Lucina's crossover appearance, only adding the bit about Mario sub-universes?--Darthrai (talk) 20:06, 19 September 2015 (EDT)
:I'm kind of on the fence about it. I was doing some digging around to check my facts, but a lot of it depends on being really limiting in how you phrase it. You have to specify that it's in-game appearances, otherwise you have complications like this (and Wreck-it Ralph). You have to specify expanded Mario series, otherwise Yoshi and others mess it up. You also have other weird cases like Miis in the Wii version of wikipedia, which depends on not counting Miis as actual characters. There's just so many caveats to the trivia point that I'm not sure it's worthwhile. :: I understand. Is this specific enough to work, then? "Lucina is one of the few Nintendo characters not from Mario and its sub-universes (and the only one playable in Smash) to appear in a game crossover with a third-party character appearing in Smash; she (along with Chrom and Fiora) is playable alongside Ryu in Project X Zone 2." IMO Miis are just avatars and not actual characters, so maybe they aren't worth mentioning.--Darthrai (talk) 20:18, 19 September 2015 (EDT)
:::I'm still leaning towards no, but I'd appreciate other users' thoughts on the subject. ::::It does seem a bit contrived, TBH. :::::The phrasing is a bit weird, but overall I don't think it's a bad trivia point.
:::::How's this for phrasing? "Lucina is one of the few fighters in Smash Bros. not from the expanded Mario series to appear in a game crossover with a third-party fighter in Smash; she and Ryu are both playable in Project X Zone 2."
:::::The Miis are kind of covered in the "few" part before fighters. And then the trivia still stays relevant for awhile even after other characters appear in 3rd party games like that. <small>---Preceding unsigned comment added by you.
