There seems to be a little edit war going on about keeping it. Firstly, I don’t think that’s a valid trivia point to keep. If Ice Climbers won’t be mentioned there because of a cameo, and cameos count as appearances, then we should count that as an appearance for Lucas. While yes, Lucas was only a costume in Mario Maker, there’s a pretty stark contrast between Mario Maker costumes and say, Bayonetta costumes. The costumes in Bayonetta are visibly Bayonetta in a suit, rather than Fox or Samus actually being in the game. Same with cases like BotW and Yoshi’s Wooly World. The Mario Maker costumes completely remove all traces of Mario from it. In fact, it’s literally a full appearance of that character. I’d say that it counts as an appearance by Lucas.
