Route 23 second half

Is the second half of Route 23 from any Pokemon game, or is it completely original to the remix? Either way, I think something about it should be mentioned, along with the second half of Fight 1 (Fire Emblem Gaiden), and the intro part of the Super Hoop remix. Reshiram/Zekrom mix

I distinctly remember that in the base version of Smash 3DS, there was a rougher mix of Reshiram & Zekrom's battle theme. It sounded basically like a demo version of the final remix, with a rougher, synth guitar recording. It was then updated in a patch, and the updated version (with cleaner mixing) was used in Wii U and Ultimate. I distinctly remember having a gamerip from the launch day of 3DS and then being surprised when the change to the track happened. If it's kosher to link, after much searching I found this upload which would support my memory. Does anyone know exactly when it was patched? TCRF claims the update happened in Version 1.0.3 (October 2014), but I found this upload from the day after launch that more closely resembles the final version. Hmm. I can't check my copy of the game right now unfortunately. Wanted to note this, but wanted to make sure all the info was correct! --Flippy (talk) 17:45, August 28, 2026 (UTC)
