:::Yes of course as I said above it would be replaced with "a disambig page to moveset subpages". But the page wouldn't stay in its current form. Toomai Glittershine The Quiet 13:19, 8 November 2014 (EST)

::::::I support this due to the fact that normal attacks generally do not have their own pages. However, the content of the page shouldn't simply be lost; a merge (or split merges) with other pages might be in order. ::::::I support deletion.  Only the Mario Tornado should have an article and not Zelda's bair and fair moves. --Tailikku (talk) 23:49, 21 November 2014 (EST)
:::Of course, I use it, but it doesn't guarantee no further edits. Anyway, since there is info on the move, it makes zero sense deleting the article. PainLesS (talk) 10:00, 9 November 2014 (EST)
:::*Oppose: Both Knee Smash and Lightning Kick ought to be kept. Both have competitive coverage and in-game special recognition. --Mr. Guye (talk) 13:39, 2 January 2015 (EST)
Darkelf64: I oppose to the deletion since although it may be out of date there are still people who want to learn these things.
::::a strong OPPOSE! <small>because of Mr. Guye's reasons (Smashworker101 (talk) 17:50, 7 January 2015 (EST))</small>
Support Lightning Kick is nowhere near as famous as the Knee Smash. In addition, once we made the moveset subpages for these, it will cover a lot more information than a lone article will. :::Smashworker101, please do not use the <code> &lt;big&gt; </code> tags, as they disrupt the normal spacing between rows of text and it is just obnoxious. == Names of other non-special moves ==
"Lightning Kick" and "Knee Smash" are both used in the Nintendo Power player's guide for Melee. All the other moves are given names as well (with the exception of edge and floor recovery attacks). Since the two moves I mentioned here are also confirmed on in-game trophies, and Nintendo Power was a part of Nintendo of America, then there's no reason to believe the other move names aren't official as well. I still have the player's guide so I could add the move names to each character page, unless there is some other reason names aren't wanted (because I am wondering why no one has provided them yet - although they did exist on Mewtwo's page at one point). :This has been a long-standing issue, which I have grown quite sick of. I'm going to end it now by casting a vote-discussion in the forum. What's decided there will be the new standard. By the way, can anyone confirm whether or not the Prima names and the Power names are the same? <span style="font-family:Algerian;font-size:10pt;background:#000;border:outset #083 2px;padding:1px 3px"><span style="color:#083">Serpent</span>&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style="color:#ed0">King</span></span> 23:28, 22 January 2018 (EST)
::They are different. I noticed that especially the older Prima guides for early 2000s games like Melee are much more inaccurate as well, which is why I think we should nix the names for non-special moves if they come from only third party sources.
