Oh, I tested it. It's true. I think it's because in wifi, the ports are messed up, so I mistook it.Timothyung (talk) 11:48, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

SSB4 Bowsercide ruling
I've found that in SSB4, a last-stock Bowsercide will always give the victory to Bowser. However, I'm a little leery on adding it to the article as definitive information, since I don't have anyone to play local wireless with to see if some equivalent of port priority is still in effect (nor do I have friends for online mode, and I'm not about to spend hours trying to test this on random players). Is anyone able to check this out? Frezgle (talk) 17:48, 24 October 2014 (EDT)
No mention of Bowsercide on Bowser's page of the SMASH BROS. DOJO!!
The article claims, in the Bowsercide section, that "The DOJO!! has stated that if one uses this move to do a sacrificial KO while both are on their last stock, the game would be called in Bowser's favor." Looking at Bowser's page on the Dojo, I don't see any mention of sacrificial KOs, nor last stock situations. In fact, this is what the dojo has to say about Bowser's side special: "This is Bowser’s megamonster move: the Flying Slam! First, he grabs... Then he jumps...SLLAAAMMO! You can even grab someone in midair, making this move a real mean one. He’s diving off the edge with his opponent! That’s not nice! But please don’t worry. The opponent will be able to affect side-to-side movement just like Bowser. The opponent can fight back. The effectiveness of this resistance depends on the damage gauge. The less damage the opponent has, the stronger he or she will be able to resist. Likewise, Bowser will find it harder to control his enemy if he has taken a lot of damage." That is literally the entire section on the move. I looked back through the page's history, and found that this factoid was added February of 2008: Flying Slam: Difference between revisions. If no has any complaints, or can point me to where it actually says something similar to the quote at the top of this section, I'll go ahead and remove it from the page. :The DOJO!! used to make the stock claim, but no longer does. Here's an archive from 24 March 2008 where it makes the claim, and then 27 March 2008 where it no longer does. So sometime between those dates it was removed. I think the DOJO!! claim should be moved to trivia and the mention of the DOJO!! in the last-stock paragraph be removed. --CanvasK (talk) 18:28, July 8, 2025 (EDT)
::Good to know 👍 If no one else wants to do what you suggested, I can try and get around to it, but I don't know when. Probably not today. Mariogeek2 (talk) 19:21, July 8, 2025 (EDT)
