When experimenting in project M, I discovered that Bidou does in fact work in PM, although much differently due to the different mechanics in PM.

* When performing the perfect pivot (or just pivot, whatever) the character does not slide very much, if at all, probably as a result of the dash-dance friendly run physics in PM. The same goes for the crouching perfect pivot, making the wavedash superior for movement. However, the perfect pivot has almost no lag, meaning you can jab, d-tilt, f-tilt, f-smash, or whatever faster than you could a wavedash, so the perfect pivot is better for spacing at close range, and perhaps even for positioning during a combo.
