Additionally, look at the [http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100108135124/metroid/images/7/77/Gravity_Suit.jpg image] Miles posted on your talkpage, the official artwork of the gravity suit in Super Metroid, and what do you know, it looks exactly like the purple suit in Brawl, not the pink suit. Also, comparing a SNES sprite to a fully rendered model is bad form, considering the limitations of the SNES sprite does not allow it to look exactly like the model does.

I.e., everyone else is seeing the SNES sprite as more purple, you are the one who is having difficulty recognising colors, especially when BoF already proved it was more purple.
