'''Summon''' is an option within the {{h1|Collection|In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate}} tab of the {{b|Spirits|menu}} single-player mode that allows players to summon certain spirits with [[core]]s obtained by sending spirits home in the [[Dismiss]] menu. Some spirits are only obtainable through this method, meaning the only way to collect the total number of spirits is to summon some of them. Previously summoned spirits may later appear on the Spirit Board, and others can be encountered in [[World of Light]] without needing to summon them first. There are 133 summonable spirits, 91 of them are summon-exclusive, and of which, 15 of them can appear on the Spirit Board after the first summon.

==How to Use==
Each spirit requires a certain amount of cores and [[SP]] to summon it. Most often, the spirit requires cores from a specific spirit or spirit type. For example, summoning a Paper Mario spirit requires a Cut Man spirit and Cardboard Box spirit, along with any Neutral type spirit.

The player may also directly use spirits without dismissing them first. The game will automatically dismiss the chosen spirits (gaining SP for the dismissal) and use those cores for summoning.
