Editing Smasher talk:Legan

No, it's not his only tournament. But this was a national tournament with some of the top players of the united states. You really expect a Link main to win it?

He has placed well for being at the bottom of the tier list in many tournaments and has taken sets against many notable characters. The article is not finished yet. I will try and get in contact with him so I can get more of his tournament results and the players he has beaten. 

And if you do not know who the top world players of certain characters are then I have no clue why you are moderating a wiki site about SSB.

Notability is a quality defined for the purposes of this Wiki as any article about a smasher or crew that has a significant presence in competitive Smash Brothers. Has participated in a tournament that is run by SBR rules (or a low-tier tournament) and has some level of regional or national recognition.

:First of all, calm down a bit, It seems like you're taking this a bit more seriously than you need to - even if you aren't, your tone of "voice" makes it appear that way.
:Secondly, sign your talk page edits with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>.
:Third: You don't have to be a staff member to put the "I don't think this guy is notable" message on an article. This more easily attracts the attention of someone who knows enough about the smash community to determine if a smasher is notable. I'm not one of those people, so I'm not qualified to make a decision either way, but I'm certain that someone has already seen this and is (or will be in the next day) doing research to determine how well-known this smasher is. Based on what I'm seeing, it'll probably be kept, so I don't think you have anything to worry about. == Regarding marking for deletion comment and the reason why I seemed serious ==

After a few minutes writing the article I saw it flagged for notability with the comment "The only tourny this guy has appeared in he lost in?". That gave me the impression that he had no idea what he was talking about. Not even knowing what MLG was or where Link is on the tier list.

I just found it strange that one of the arguments for him to not being deleted listed in the notability: Attended tournament of regional or national recognition following the SBR ruleset(wrote this from memory, so its a bit off). MLG covers this by a mile, but instead is used as a reason to delete him. He has lots of tournament placings, but I put up MLG before I could talk to him about other tournaments just so he would pass on the notable argument. He is also a Link main and because of that no one should demand him any first placings of any regional or national tournaments, cause that would be a miracle. And the last argument about the videos was a challenge to the one posting that reason, a call out if you like, for him to try and show me that he actually knows something which he has failed to do so far.

1. I was neither aware that anyone could flag articles for deletion. So I assumed he was a moderator of some sort. Sorry for that.

For the record I am also completely new here. You all probably already know from the lack of knowledge I show from the way things are done around here, for that I'm sorry. I was making a firm standpoint from the "The only tourny this guy has appeared in he lost in?" argument, thats why I seemed so serious. 

And I'm not nearly done writing the article either, I did not want to put more effort into it before I knew it was gonna stay.
