'''Sultan of Samitude''' (also known as '''Sam''') is a retired {{SSBM|Falco}} [[main]] from [[California]]. He was considered the best Falco player on the West Coast during his prime along with {{Sm|Justin Junio}}, placing in the top 8 of several [[Tournament Go]] events and locals. He won the [[Meleepalooza]] tournament defeating the [[Tournament Go 2]] and [[Tournament Go 3]] champions. Sultan of Samitude also had a brief stint in the West Coast crew [[DBR]] before leaving the community and retiring at an unknown date.

He was briefly mentioned in the ''[[The Smash Brothers]]'' documentary when {{Sm|Ken}} recalled that Sam challenged him to a [[money match]] prior to Tournament Go 4. Despite Sam's claims that {{SSBM|Marth}} was "not even [[Tier list|top tier]]," he was outplayed by Ken's Marth and swiftly 4-stocked. Footage of this money match still exists on YouTube, and provides an interesting look at the early ''Melee'' metagame; in addition to {{SSBM|Mute City}} being the stage of choice for the match, [[item]]s were enabled.
