In recent years, Sleak has taken the helm of many Smash based events and communities alongside players such as {{Sm|AozoraX}} and {{Sm|Mach5}} in pioneering the Alberta Smash scene with his enthusiasm and is looked up to by many of his peers.

During late 2013 into early 2014, Sleak picked up Fox in lieu of his skill and confidence with Falco. While winning most matches and some upcoming tournaments with Fox, Sleak is positioned again to take up Falco based on stellar Smashers, notably {{Sm|PPMD}}.
