ScrubCasual, formerly known as MetalPat, is a competitive smasher from Binghamton, New York, who went to UAlbany and was thus a part of the New York Capital Region Smash scene for four years. His primary Smash game is Smash 4, where he played many different characters throughout Smash 4's history, though he mostly mained Diddy Kong and King Dedede. He also played Brawl competitively when its scene was alive in upstate New York, where he mained R.O.B. and Snake. He also prefers doubles over singles, and usually places better in doubles events.

In Brawl ScrubCasual, then known as MetalPat, was an above-average player who occasionally placed well in singles tournaments in upstate New York, while he did a bit better in doubles. In Smash 4, he was one of the strongest Smash 4 players in the Capital Region early after its release, especially as he picked up pre-nerf Diddy Kong and customs Villager. His strength early in the game's competitive life resulted in him being ranked second on the first Capital Region Smash 4 PR under Omega Tyrant, and he was ranked fifth on the second PR. As Diddy Kong got nerfed however by patches and customs were banned, he suffered a main crisis, as his Diddy Kong and Villager were significantly less effective, while his old preferred character, King Dedede, remained unbuffed by patches. This, combined with the rising competition, resulted in his placings gradually declining after the Spring of 2015, and he's no longer the tournament threat he once was, as well as no longer ranked anywhere.

Nowadays in Smash 4 he still primarily plays Diddy Kong alongside King Dedede, while also playing other characters such as Ganondorf and Cloud. He additionally no longer plays the game as seriously as he once did.
