'''Ripple''' is a smasher from Champaign, Illinois. He is one of the longest-active ''[[Project M]]'' players, having been competing since 2012 during the demo period of the mod. He is considered to be one of the greatest {{PM|King Dedede}} players in ''[[Project M]]'', having placed top 8 at both {{Trn|The Big House 4}} and {{Trn|Tipped Off 11}}, and was the highest-ranking King Dedede player during this time, ranking 29th on the [[PMRank 2016]]. After a period in the early-2020s where he primarily competed online, he returned to regularly competing offline in 2023, becoming an honorable mention on [[PMRank 2023|that year's PMRank]] before making his return to the rankings in the [[PMRank 2024|following year's iteration]]. Though he mainly played King Dedede during this time, he eventually picked up {{PM|Samus}} as a co-main and is considered the second-best Samus player in ''Project+'', after {{Sm|Morsecode762}}, and achieved a career high ranking on the [[PMRank 2025]] with both characters, where he ranked 26th. Due to his long-term success, he was ranked 51st on the [[Project M/+ All Time Top 100]].

Outside of competing, Ripple is also part of the ''[[Melee: SD Remix]]'' and ''Project+'' development teams.
