'''ResidentWaffle''', addressed by his [[SmashBoards]] friends simply as "Waffle" is an American [[smasher]] from Los Angeles, California. He periodically holds tournaments at Toy Mandala in Sherman Oaks, CA, and travels to such places as Norwalk and Sherman Oaks to play his crew members.

==Tournament history==

He found and joined the [[SmashBoards]] in January 2006 when he got bored one day and started looking on the GameFAQs' Smash Bros. Melee forum. He attended his first [[tournament]] in March 2006 which was small store tournament in Anaheim in which he lost his first round and tournament match to {{sm|DieSuperFly}} a "Pro Smasher" ranked 2nd in Socal right after {{sm|Ken}}, who many considered the world's best smasher at the time. He later lost to another random smasher in the losers' bracket and vied to get better.

This did not happen until later, however, due to school he took a break from that time until summer, a time in which he got rarely any practice. His practice started up again when RagingMissiles or "Rage" another starting Smash Bros. player and soon to be friend decided to hold tournaments at Toy Mandala; a small store in Sherman Oaks, California. They first met at another tournament in a store called Gamer's Lounge, which is across the street from Toy Mandala but did not talk to each other at the time. Since then ResidentWaffle received a lot of practice with Rage at his tournaments and private get-togethers with him and other 818 smashers in the area such as Nes, J666, Morb, Mike Haze, Inks, DEHF, Brwn, and Fly Leaf.

After a small retirement from August to October, ResidentWaffle came back on to the smash scene. This time he would more frequently be playing with the previous smashers and another crew from Norwalk entitled "Roundtable" which consisted of {{sm|Mango}}, {{sm|Lucky}}, DC, Mr. P-body, and Danimals. He would also join their new crew which was a merger of 8-bit and Roundtable called Roundbit that includes several new players that weren't affiliated yet. The crew has 12 members consisting of; {{sm|Mango}}, {{sm|Lucky}}, DC, Mr. P-body,  Nes, J666, Danimals, Morb,DEHF, Tofu, Gimpyfish62(also a part of Combo Status) and ResidentWaffle.
