He was formerly ranked 3rd on the [[SoCal Project M Power Rankings]], 14th on the [[SoCal Melee Power Rankings]], and 95th on the [[2015 SSBMRank]].

OkamiBW was one of the first players to fully utilize [[shield dropping]] at a high level. This technique became extremely popular starting from 2014. In fact, he and his former training partner, {{Sm|Axe}}, are often credited as the main reasons as to why the technique became so widespread due to their excellent demonstration of the tech in high-profile matches.
