He is well known for creating [[Kurogane Hammer|a website of the same name]], which primarily stores attack data and attributes for all characters, as well as a [http://kuroganehammer.com/Smash4/Formulas formula chart] for various game mechanics for ''[[Super Smash Bros. 4]]'' (for which there is a [http://kuroganehammer.com/Smash4/Calculator calculator] to test some of them), and is being continuously updated as more data can be found. It has also expanded since its inception on April 22nd, 2015 to have data for ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'', ''Rivals of Aether'', and ''Pokkén Tournament''. The website is very popular, receiving at least 20,000 visits a day, and is praised as a good source for technical information by many other smashers.

Kurogane Hammer occasionally competes, tweeting out when doing so and promoting the Australian ''Smash'' scene. Despite infrequent tournament appearances due to travelling issues, he generally places high when he does attend, acting somewhat as a hidden boss of Australia.
