'''JV''' is an eSports commentator that co-created the "Brown Battalion" with fellow eSports commentator {{Sm|Nebtune}}. Brown Battalion commentates on the ''Smash'' series, as well as ''Rocket League'', ''Hearthstone'', ''Halo 5'', and ''Black Ops 3'', to name a few, and personally streaming their own Steam games and ''League of Legend'' also.  The duo were currently sponsored by [[Tourney Locator]] as commentators for the team but JV has decided to leave the crew in order to pursue work as a sale representative for medical software.

Besides being an eSports commentator, JV is also an active player who competes in ''[[Smash 64]]'' when possible. He mains as {{SSB|Captain Falcon}} in both singles and doubles. Currently JV tends to play weekly locals at 'Renfield's Corner hosted by himself or {{Sm|CTG}}, 'Throwback Thursdays' previously hosted by Tourney Locator and occasionally 'Don't Get Hit' hosted by {{Sm|Z_Rex}}. It is noted that JV utilizes a unique N64 controller hold style, having one thumb and two fingers to move the joysticks with the left hand rather than just placing the left thumb only on the joystick. He established and connected much of the Dallas ''Smash 64'' scene in Texas and has been working to promote gaming through social networking and community services.
