He utilizes a very unconventional style of {{SSBM|Sheik}}, preferring to overwhelm the enemy with down throw tech chases and down smash reads rather than going for technical combos. Sometimes switching to {{SSBM|Zelda}} during sets as a means to recover and as a counter against {{SSBM|Ice Climbers}}, he is currently considered to be the best Zelda player in the world. He is currently ranked 2nd on the [[Columbus Melee Power Rankings]], 1st on the [[Ohio Power Rankings]], and 76th on the [[SSBMRank 2022]].

In ''[[Project M]]'', Drephen played {{PM|Sheik}} and was formerly ranked 2nd on the [[Columbus Power Rankings]] for ''Project M''.
