He ultimately switched to ''Melee'', attending his first offline tournament in 2013. While he is most known for ''Melee'', he has competed in all Smash games. AndrewAJT is known for his patient playstyle and strong punish game. He retired from competitive ''Melee'' in 2016 due to wrist pain, but returned to the Smash scene by beginning to compete in ''[[Ultimate]]'' in 2023, playing {{SSBU|Mario}} and {{SSBU|Samus}} in offline and online events.
