The '''music''' in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' was composed and arranged by Hirokazu Ando, Shogo Sakai, Tadashi Ikegami, and Takuto Kitsuta. Due to the fact that the Gamecube is the first console to have sound compatibility with ADPCM/Audio that doesn't rely on a MIDI sequence, there was even once confusion among new players regarding which tracks are Midi/Sequenced and which tracks are actually recorded by an orchestra.
