The '''Mushroom Kingdom''' ({{ja|キノコ王国|Kinoko Ōkoku}}, ''Mushroom Kingdom'') is the main location in the {{uv|Mario}} universe and the setting of most ''Mario'' games.

The Mushroom Kingdom is presided over by [[Princess Peach]] and her family, and its celebrity hero is the brave hero, [[Mario]]. It is home to a wide variety of different climates, such as plains, deserts, tundras, and beaches.

The Mushroom Kingdom, though the fictional area where almost all ''Mario'' games take place, is not the only kingdom in the franchise; the Game Boy game ''{{s|mariowiki|Super Mario Land}}'' takes place in a country called {{s|mariowiki|Sarasaland}} which is home to 4 separate kingdoms and ''{{s|mariowiki|Super Mario Odyssey}}'' includes 15 separate kingdoms, including the Mushroom Kingdom.
