Luigi slams the opponent in front of him with the [[Poltergust G-00]]. While visually similar to his back throw, forward throw is much weaker, being unable to KO on its own until around 160% at the ledge. As such, it is only really used when too far from an edge for back throw to take a stock and when down throw's knockback is too high to combo into a reliable kill option. It is used mostly to get an opponent off stage to gain stage control.

Overall, forward throw is overshadowed by Luigi's other throws and rarely used outside of its niche application.
