*Extended orchestral versions of [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnvLbtb0rmo&start=3s/ Overture] and [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_aGXhIVxUY/ Adventure] from the ''Dragon Quest III Symphonic Suite'' performed by the {{s|wikipedia|Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra}} were used in the Hero's reveal trailer, but are not included in the actual game. This is likely due to licensing complications with the late series composer {{s|wikipedia|Koichi Sugiyama}}, who retains the rights to the ''Dragon Quest'' soundtracks instead of Square Enix themselves.
**Because of this, Hero's reveal trailer is one of two trailers pertaining to newcomers to not feature any music found in-game, with the other being {{SSBU|Joker}}'s reveal trailer at {{s|wikipedia|The Game Awards 2018}}.
*Counting victory fanfare, ''Dragon Quest'' is the first character-based universe represented in ''Super Smash Bros.'' to not include any ''Smash''-exclusive remixes whatsoever.
