The following is a list of the 10 trophies from the Metroid series which appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
For the disambiguation page, go here

Normal order
Most trophies ("figures" or "figurines" in Japan) in Super Smash Bros. Melee can be obtained through the lottery (labeled as random in how to unlock). Other trophies, particularly those of playable characters and their smashes, can be obtained by playing Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, and All-Star Mode respectively. Trophies can also be obtained by completing several challenges. There are 293 trophies in all in Melee, some which tend to be rarer than others.

|align=left|Samus has an abundance of projectile weapons, making her a long-distance attack specialist. The most powerful weapon in her arsenal is her Charge Shot, but be warned: it can be reflected. Her Missiles have homing capabilities, but when fired as Smash Attacks, they fly on a straight trajectory and have boosted power.

|align=left|While Samus's arsenal of missile weapons is indeed formidable, her enemies are in for a rude awakening if they guard against nothing else. Her Grappling Beam captures foes and latches on to walls, and the Screw Attack drags foes upward in a series of spins that doubles as a recovery move. Samus can also use her Bombs to perform Bomb Jumps.

|align=left|One of Samus Aran's power-ups from the original Metroid, the Screw Attack turns a jump into a rotating attack move. When carrying this item, any character's ordinary jump move will turn into a Screw Attack. By the same token, if you throw this item at an enemy, your foe will spontaneously do a Screw Attack.

|align=left|These statues, which provide power-ups to Samus and have some connection with her Power Suit, have been found in many places, most notably Zebes. The Chozo boasted the most advanced civilization in their galaxy. Some say that when they could advance no further, they chose to withdraw and observe other life forms.

They armed her with a Power Suit and taught her the ways of advanced combat; even burdened with her heavy suit, Samus is as graceful as a butterfly. In the Metroid series, it was standard that Samus would remove her helmet and armor if you cleared the game fast enough.

|align=left|This compact ship is used by Samus as her base of operations. Of course, Samus can't fly it into the catacombs of every planet she visits, so she leaves it on the surface as her sanctuary. Samus can recharge her Power Suit inside the ship, so it tends to be the only safe and secure spot on inhospitable alien terrain.

Trivia
Notes
*The Metroid trophies claim that the original Metroid was released in 1989, but it was released in 1986.
*The Metroid trophies claim that the original Metroid was released in 1989, but it was actually released in 1987 in North America.
*The Samus Unmasked trophy is unobtainable in the NTSC version of Melee without hacking and it is completely unobtainable in the PAL version of Melee.
*The Samus Unmasked trophy could not be attained in-game via normal means; the only way to obtain it was to attend events in real life that would write the trophy onto Melee's save data, along with the Mario & Yoshi trophy.
**As no such events occurred outside of Japan, it is otherwise unobtainable without hacking.
*The Samus Unmasked trophy is shown from behind by default.
*The Metroid trophy has part of Ceres Space Colony, where the Metroid hatchling was kept in Super Metroid, reflected on its shell.
