It bears the closest resemblance to the version found in ''Kirby's Dream Land 3''. The first loop heavily uses techno beats, while the second uses much lower tones, slowly building up with brass. This remix would later be featured as a bonus track in ''Kirby Air Riders'', and is the only ''Smash'' remix in the game that wasn't handled by one of the ''Air Riders'' composers.

However, it was reused as the theme of the {{s|wikirby|Checker Knights}} course in ''Kirby Air Ride'' and its sequel ''Kirby Air Riders'', essentially unchanged other than being modified to loop. The ''Brawl'' version of this track loops similarly to the ''Air Ride'' version, but with higher audio quality comparable to the original ''Strong Star Warrior''.
