Kirby lunges forward and performs the Smash Kick. It has fast startup for a forward smash, as it comes out on frame 13. Since Kirby moves at a decent distance forward while using it, his forward smash has good range, with the clean hit being slightly disjointed. On the first three active frames, it deals 15% damage with great knockback overall, making it a reliable KO option when combined with its fast startup for a smash attack. It's also a powerful punish option. However, it has noticeable ending lag, it's unsafe on shield and the hitbox has a deceptively short duration.
