With the release of the [[Nintendo Switch 2]], both of the [[Joy-Con 2]] controllers have an optical sensor that allow them to slide around a surface and behave like a computer mouse. While ''Ultimate'' has not yet received a proper ''Nintendo Switch 2 Edition'' to properly take advantage of this feature, this could open the door for more experimentation with keyboards on the console with ports of PC games more or less able to port the keyboard and mouse controls with no compromises.
