As with all of its throws, Jigglypuff's down throw is almost exclusively a damage dealing throw. It deals 10% total damage, which is above average for a down throw, however its high base knockback and angle, combined with Jigglypuff's slow vertical movement from jumps renders it incapable of comboing at any percent. It also does not kill until well over 250%, despite being Jigglypuff's second strongest throw in terms of knockback.
