As of May 20, 2014, friend codes are normally no longer usable in ''Brawl'' due to [[Nintendo]] shutting down the Wi-Fi for [[Nintendo DS]] and [[Wii]] games. However, it is still possible for DS and Wii games to be played online via hacks and private servers.
