I know it's very early, but I decided to make a tier list with the characters they currently announced in ''[[SSB4]]''. This is purely for fun and it is not very accurate. I will update it when 2 more characters are announced. I want to see your opinions and if there are any mistakes, just tell me. '''Do not fix it yourselves'''.

:Wii Fit Trainer looks like she's going to be pretty good, lots of fast attacks which don't look shabby in power. It's hard to tell with Bowser and Villager. What do you think? This one's much more reasonable since I actually looked at the ''Brawl'' tier list as a template for the veterans so there are a lot of changes. Major changes include Link going all the down to last and Samus from 7th to 16th. Oh, and of course Mega Man is still God tier, his moves are completely badass! Thanks to NutsBazooka stating Bowser will be faster and more powerful, Bowser's placement got a little bit higher to 17, and Link got up to 16 because his buffed dair. I think Lucario will get into a high place because the aura concept will be better and that could be a real game changer. Villager got moved up to 2 because a lot of his moves seem really good, and his grab may do well (he may be the next Mr. Game & Watch). Smash 4 tier list 3.1 because Little Mac. Nothing big, just added Mac and Lucario gained up to 5 because he seems to be buffed a lot for this game. I don't think that Rosalina should be as high on the tier list as she is. Screenshots say she is very tall and floaty, and some gameplay shows that lots of her moves(especially her bair)  are slow. :Why has Mario been on the bottom of nearly every list? Sure, there hasn't been anything new or interesting revealed about Mario yet, but I wouldn't count him down for the count. :No word on the Cucco's status (we don't know if it's a regular item or an assist trophy), so on the off chance that it's actually playable, I think the Cucco would surpass The Fish in the Ultra SSS Tier. ::Duck Hunt seems to be high in my opinion while because of Sheik's great performance in tournaments, I personally think she should be top tier. ::Sheik is in the top 3 no doubt; only real problem is her extreme lack of KO'ing power compared to the other top tiers. She probably has the best neutral game by some margin, and her combos and edgeguards are very versatile to the point of her having a lot of options in pretty much any situation. I have a hard time determining who is better between Sheik and Rosalina, though they're definitely in the top 3 below Diddy. :What exactly makes Wii Fit Trainer absolute bottom? Bad hitbox placement? She's definitely in the lower parts of the tier list, but I'd put Ganondorf, Zelda, or Palutena in the bottom spot instead of her.

#Smash 4 is more balanced than Melee. While, yes, there are certain bad characters and certain good characters, the differences between the two sections are like Meta Knight vs the rest of the Brawl cast. That said, that's why my tier list has no specific order; rather, it just categorizes them by tiers.
