Luigi is the best, he is agile and good at jumping and has fire jump punch. He also has both vertical and horisontal recovery. There only problem is that he can't do both at the same time :-(. Dr. Mario is the worst because he's so fat that he's slow. Well, the history of who is better is actually profoundly rooted in the Celtic tradition of drinking a lot of beer, sacrificing exceedingly large quantities of Peeps (around 7.4652 * 10^14 (YOWZAH That's a Big Number!!!)), and then putting a virgin to death so that your rock band can make it big but oops she's not a virgin because she's Megan Fox.  Humorous anecdote #1: turns out that she was given a Chozo Power Suit, and now fights crime at the behest of the Office of Drugs, Prostitutes, and Exceedingly Hairy Yeti Control on the Isle of Avalon in southeastern Sarajevo.  Antway the Celts really all just collectively, as a race, wanted to be doctors. But after they were visited by mustached men they realized that they also wanted to be Italian (and thereby, plumbers, see [http://www.saddestcaveman.com/|this page] for a detailed explanation of why).  But, due to teen angst issues, a breakout of herpes, mass media, globalization, the decline of Egyptian cotton prices (Humorous anecdote #2: the decline of Egyptian cotton prices also led to a series of Irish famines culminating in the consumption of leather shoes and Boris Yeltson), McDonald's replacing the double cheese burger with the folly that is the McDouble (Humorous anecdotes #3: the cause of all famines aside from Irish potato famines and Rosie O'Donnell not having second breakfast (Sub-Humorous anecdote #3: she is, in fact, a hobbit with gigantism) is the removal of that single beef patty from the McDouble on the McDonald's dollar menu), and the extinction of several species of finch that, instead of having beaks as Darwin predicted, instead were given by evolution rabbit's feet, some of these Celts decided they wanted to be just plain mustached Italians. So, the battle between the Celts who wanted to be Italians, and the Celts who wanted to be Italians and doctors began, leading to the invention of trench warfare and the crossbow bolt. I don't necessarily always agree w/ the tier list, but I do agree that Dr. Mario is way better than the other two. I wish he was in Brawl. I won't get into everything here, but his f-smash is stronger with an electric effect and no sourspot, his b-throw is stronger, and his fair performs drastically different than Mario's. All of their attacks contain different hitboxes but again, I am not going to compare all of their attacks right here (no two characters have a attack with the same exact hitboxes). Since he's essentially Mario, Dr.Mario shouldn't be his own character but he should be brought back as an alternative costume for Mario, along with having the megavitamins, his f-smash, and his fair. Doc. He's better than Mario in every way outside of recovery (which is pretty minor, considering how many options he has) and Luigi suffers from the same lack of reach that the others have, just with low movement speed and an extremely gimpable recovery. A better recovery is needed for all three of them.  It's no secret they might do better on stages with no edges.  I'm not a Melee purist though I've seen how things work in other games. -Max Eliteness
