::::...? What was the point of that comment? Anyway, it's actually quite diffcult to tell how many times each specific character can be chain-grabbed, although I am unsure if this only applies to Falco. You see, I chain-grab frequently (although I haven't lately, because some users intentionally KO'd themselves because of it), and I usually see each character I've brawled get chained 5 times in a row. Fox, however, is an exception. According yo my experiences, you can only chaingrab him at least three times, because by the third, the opponent will have enough control of his character to change his trajectory, moving him too far to reach. I can't say for the others, but the point of that comment on my part was solely to make pleasant and slightly irrelevant conversation.  Anyways, as far as infinite chaingrabs go:  if someone manages to hit me with ten Fsmashes in a row (guaranteeing a defeat with most characters), am I going to try to ban arguably the most used move in the game?  Or, say, should we ban Counter if people use start to use it indefinitely, move after move?  I know it's a bit of a drastic (and unrealistic) example, but I hope that the point is at least there.  If you disagree with the infinite chaingrab, then don't get grabbed.--Meta-K (talk) 01:40, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Definitely do not ban it. While their smash attacks do great damage, they're less effective as finishers this time around. This chain-grab can rack up damage so that when KO times comes around, they can see how to finish off the oppponent.
I realize that this chaingrabbing business is extremely hard to do, hun, no matter how much skill you think you have. Between you and me, I can't do it at all in this game, though I can in a limited manner in Melee. Because of this really high difficulty, tournaments are allowing this, 'cause let's face it: the IC's would be literally bottom of the middle, if not low tier, if they weren't able to chain throw.
