Upload an image, add it to the Category: User images, head to preferences, insert the name of the image as you would a Wiki page ([[File:<INSERT FILE NAME HERE>|19px]]) in the signature section under profile. You will have to select treat signature as Wiki text and link everything accordingly so that your signature still links people to your userpage and talk page.
